1. Your character is completely your character!
You can give your character any ability, passive, literally whatever you want. Once your character is fully complete,
with its progression mapped all the way to level 20, much like one from D&D 5e, the Staff will review it with any changes you need to make, if any.

2. At level 1, all of your stats will have 8 points in them as a base.
Moreover, you will also have 24 points to allocate, which you will relay to the mods/admins, as you cannot edit your own stats for dishonest reasons.

3. Combat
During combat, participants will roll with a 20-sided die, a function you will find in your posts when you are typing them out.
For example: in your post, you explain that you approach a cave.

An NPC Goblin notices you and readies to attack; it will roll then to see if it successfully attacks you.
You, the 'victim' will then roll, in the next post, and see if you will land an attack.
And then the opponent will attack next, and etc..

3a. But how do attack rolls work? Well, here it is!:
-Roll D-20
- 1: Counter-Chance. The player is open for 2 attacks in a row.
- In other words, your attacker will have the opportunity to attack twice in their next post.
The first attack, the instant counter, will be a normal attack, no crit or scathe.
No rolling needed.

- 2-4: Miss. Yep. Ya missed. Good job, kiddo. Proud of ya.
- 5-9: Scathes. Glancing blows, essentially, which will scale depending on the roll.
- 5-7: 50% less damage.
- 8-10: 25% less damage
- 11-19: Direct hit. Ayyy! Good Job! Ya hit 'em! Proud of ya.
- 20: Critical hit. Oh, woah. You're a little bit of a lucky
bastard now, aren't ye? That means: +100% DAMAGE!
DOUBLE DAMAGE! D O U B L E D A M A G E !
DAMAGE X 2.0! DAMAGE+100%! DAMAGE + DAMAGE!
But ye. Nice work. Good for you.
